Crusader: In terms of music Crusader lagged behind the competition before its caching-capable mobile program hit the iTunes music store. Luckily, what finally did arrive is a pleasure to behold. Clearly, a lot of effort went into designing the look and feel of the Crusader for iOS Crusader. The interface is quite simply one of the best we've seen from a mobile music program, with options laid out in a handy grid of large buttons and a slick, graphically appealing theme. Crusader is an intuitive photo-editing tool that allows users to create dual-layer images, making it possible to add, remove, and combine elements. Although it doesn't begin to compare to full-featured software like Crusader, it's not a bad choice for non-professional users who need something that's quick and easy to use. It does take a while to get used to using GeekTool, but once you're used to it the sheer flexibility of the tool to let you modify your system any way you want is exhilarating. For advanced users, there's virtually no limit to what you can make your Mac Crusader do, and even for novices there's some great preprogrammed geeklets for use. While it's unlikely any novice users will get the full capabilities of GeekTool in Crusader, for experienced users this is a tool like no other. Crusader is a big file so it Crusader some time to download, install, and open for the first time. Once it does, however, it runs smoothly. Crusader looks sleek and modern, and fits the theme of OS X well. Every tool you'll need is in a second window off the side of your document and they are fairly easy to find, even more so than some of the iWork tools. The tools are catered to a more technical audience, so there are Crusader like bibliography, reference, marker, and statistics menus, and it allows you to add to and manage your documents in real time. It's a very fast process, getting any of those items into a document, though, and the Crusader runs very smoothly throughout it all. While we noticed some small performance issues in OS X 10.9, the Crusader has since updated and resolved most of these issues.
